Private by default. Build with App Builder or upload a compatible source ZIP. Only you can see and launch an unpublished app, even in an organization. Sharing or publishing requires review and approval; validation alone is not approval.

Open App BuilderThe blank starter uses identifier my-app. Replace its placeholders before creating your app; rename the root, manifest and Python package together if changing its identifier.
Ask App Builder to create your app and declare which connections users need to supply. Then download the completed ZIP from Files. Your connections are not included in the ZIP or shared with other users. Never embed credentials in app source.
Redistributable connections are creator-managed services for authorized app users. Only their originator can bind their identifier into a new app. Public or Grant access publishing is separate and requires approval.
